I7. It is the responsibilit;~ of dta Permittee to prevem all livestock from entering the Slate Highway right-of-way at this
access location. Am~ livesock that does enter the highway right-of-way shall be the sole responsibility of the
Permittee.
I8. In the event [Ile landscapin~_ becomes unsi:lt[ly or considered to be a traffic hazard. The Department may require
that it be removed promptly by the Permittee and at no cost to the Departmen[.
19. Landscaping shall not obstruct sight distance at any State Highway access poin[.
20. A fully executed complete copy of this permit must be on the job site with the convactor at all times during [he
construction. Failure to comply with this or any o[her construction requirement may result in the immediate
suspension of work by order of the depatment inspec[or or [he issuing authority.
1. All materials. equipment. installation, construction and design, including [he auxiliary lane(s) and intersection
improvement(s) within the State Highway shall be in accordance with the following Department standazd
references, as applicable:
(a) Roadway Design Manual
(b) Materials Manual
(c) Construction Manual
(d) Standard Specifica[ions for Road and Bridge Construction, latest edit'son
(e) Colorado Standard Plans (T'f & S Standards)

22. Survey markers or monuments found in state highway right-of-way must be preserved in their original positions.
Notify the Department at (970) 248-72'_'0 immediately upon damage to or discovery of any such mazkers or
monuments at the work site. Any survey markers or monuments dis[urbed during the execution of this permit shall
be repaired and/or replaced immediately at the expense of the Permittee.
23. The Permittee, through a Colorado registered professional engineer shall provide design, consvuction, pavement
striping and signing plan: to the Department for approval 45 days prior to commencement of any work for the
purposes of issuing a Notice to Proceed. Design plans must include but not limited to layout of speed change
• lanes. utility locations. pro>ent and proposed drainage. present and proposed right-of-way lines. presen[ and
proposed traffic control devices, and clear zone analysis. fear. 4.9(14). 2 CCR 601-1] The design must be done at a
Level of Service C (or thr twenty-year projected build out Design Hourly Volume. This projected volume shall be
