August 18, 2014 C- 1981 - 010 /Trapper Mine JLE <br />established. <br />A portion of the East Pyeatt reconstructed drainage channel north of reclamation Parcels F- AB -06, F- AB -07, F- <br />AB-08, F- AB -09, F -A -11 and F -A -12 was observed. This drainage has check dams in place and appears to be <br />functional. <br />GENERAL MINE PLAN COMPLIANCE: <br />The Queen Anne dragline was mining in the K -Strike Pit and the Molly Brown dragline was mining in the L -Pit. <br />The truck and loader /excavator fleet was also active. The Baby Doe Drageline was not operating at the time of the <br />inspection. <br />RECLAMATION SUCCESS - Rule 4.15, Rule 3: <br />See the revegetation discussion. <br />REVEGETATION — Rule 4.15 <br />Vegetative Cover; Timing: <br />Reclamation parcel A -C -05 was observed. The primary vegetation observed within this parcel is sagebrush and <br />rabbit brush. Perennial grasses were observed throughout the parcel. Overall, it appears the desired vegetation at <br />the site is establishing well. <br />Reclamation parcel A -A -13 was observed. The parcel has been seeded and grass has begun to establish. Several <br />wheatgrass species were observed within the parcel. Annual vegetation cover of penny cress, kochia and Russian <br />thistle was densely established throughout the parcel. The former topsoil stockpile area to the south east of the <br />parcel had sparse grass establishment. Houndstongue was observed throughout this area and will need to be <br />monitored and treated if necessary. <br />Reclamation parcels Z -A -13 was observed. Very little of the species seeded for reclamation have begun to <br />germinate on this parcel. The vegetation was dominated by kochia and tumble mustard. <br />A dense patch of musk thistle was observed in Horse Gulch drainage and reclamation parcel Z -A -07 and will need <br />to be monitored and treated if necessary. <br />SLIDES and DAMAGE - Rule 4.12: <br />Several rills were observed on parcel Z -A -13.
