August 18, 2014 C- 1981 - 010 /Trapper Mine JLE <br />The blast warning sign located in Castor Gulch was missing at the time of the inspection. Mr. Roberts indicated <br />he had an extra sign that he would post at this location. <br />Permit boundary markers were observed throughout the site at various locations. No problems were observed. <br />TOPSOIL — Rule 4.06 <br />Removal 4.06.2, Substitute Materials 4.06.4(4); Storage and Protection 4.06.3; Redistribution 4.06.4: <br />The following topsoil stockpiles within the active mining /reclamation area were observed: <br />Stockpiles E79 -6, A93 -1, A94 -2, SP5 -94, SP6 -94, EF1, A98 -3, Al -08 and G1 -03 were marked with topsoil <br />markers, appeared stable and vegetated. <br />A patch of musk thistle was observed on topsoil stockpile G4 -02 and will need to be monitored and treated if <br />necessary. <br />A small patch of yellow toadflax was observed on the north side of the G1 -02 topsoil stockpile. Otherwise, the <br />pile was marked and well vegetated. <br />It appears a scraper has removed topsoil from pile Al -09. According to Graham Roberts, this material was used <br />for the reclamation of a rill. Otherwise, the pile was marked and well vegetated. <br />Topsoil stockpile G2 -06 had had some recent topsoil material added to the pile.
