loading location on Phase IV of AGVLF,the haulage equipment will traverse approximately
1,000 feet over certified liner on material uncontaminated by sodium cyanide before reaching
unlined area.
Equipment used will be a mix of CC&V and contractor loader and haulage units from their
respective fleets. Measures will be implemented to reduce volumetric loading as compared to
current practice to reduce the possibility of spillage of previously leached ore. Additionally,the
haulage route traversing unlined area while loaded with the spent ore primarily descends but is
otherwise level further reducing the potential for spillage.
The spent ore is crushed rock having a product size of approximately 80%passing 3/4", having a
moisture content of 6 - 7%, and a free sodium cyanide concentration of 0.00 15 lbs of NaCN per
dry ton of spent ore.
2) Schedule and expected date of completion;
The project is anticipated to commence in October 2014 and be completed by April 2015.
Operation will be seven days a week, 24 hours a day.
3) Map showing locations of removal and placement, route(s) and where routes are off
edge of liner;
Reference attachment"Spent Ore Haulage Route.pdf'
4) Any change to the final configuration of the AGVLF(e.g.,will it be reloaded?);
Phase IV of the AGVLF will be re-loaded. There will be no change to the final configuration of
AGVLF.
5) Any change to the AGVLF reclamation plan;
No
6) Any geotechnical issues that may affect stability of either the AGVLF or the SGVLF
during or after the operation is completed;
No
7) Spill/clean-up response plan.
If any material is spilled, it will be cleaned up by over excavation to include additional
surrounding material to ensure no previously leached ore is left on the ground. Samples will be
taken both of the spilt spent ore and the soil matrix after cleanup and sent for WAD cyanide
analysis to ensure contaminated material is completely cleaned up. Recovered material will be
returned to Phase IV of the AGVLF.
