• The car moving equipment for positioning the railroad cars at the coal
loading station is a hydraulically-activated pusher type installed in
one permanent location. The car movement occurs by pushbutton, such
that car movement occurs only when the button is depressed and stops
when the button is released. The pushbutton is located in the
operator's control room.
Tfie rail loop roadbed, in areas requiring fill, consists of an earth
embankment constructed on a prepared ground surface with a sub-ballast
placed atop the embankment. One foot of crushed rock is placed on top of the
embankment for sub-ballast.
(5) Locomotive Warming Shed
The warming shed is insulated, ventilated, and heated, and is located
• at the end of the loading track. tt has a reinforced concrete floor
slab, placed on a well compacted crushed stone base.
