Exhibit 2.04.4 -E1 only identifies sites <br />found within the project area which does not include the proposed permit area expansion and the <br />majority of Sec 22. Based on the recommendations in the approved cultural and historical <br />resources exhibit, please provide information to the Division discussing the operators intention <br />to conduct additional surveys in areas that have yet to be surveyed or provide justification as <br />to the reason a survey is not required. In addition, please provide information discussing the <br />recommendation to a pilot testing and monitoring program for the 12 sites identified above and <br />the recmmended documentation for Site 5RT519. <br />9. Proposed pages 2.04 -38, 39, 40, and 41 outline Figures 2.04.7 -F1, F2, F3, and F4. The baseline <br />information identified in the tables has been revised from the approved Tables for wells COV23, <br />COV11, SW19, CW23, SWU11, and CWU23. Please provide information which discusses the <br />change in baseline data. <br />10. Approved pages 2.04.60 and 2.04 -61 under the table labeled Groundwater Rights and Use, <br />identifies 48 permitted wells within one mile of the permit area. No revised pages for the <br />idntification of the permitted wells was submitted. Please address if the number of permitted <br />wells will increase due to the proposed permit boundary change. <br />11. Approved ground water monitoring wells are in the area of planned mine workings. Coal <br />overburden wells COV2633 and COV2702 are monitored for water levels tri- annually and for water <br />quality semi - annually. Wadge coal wells CW2632 and CW2701 are montored for water levels tri- <br />annually and for water quality semi - annually and SW19 is monitored semi - annually for water levels <br />and annually for water quality. No discussion was submitted concerning the possibility of replacing <br />any wells damaged due to subsidence or the mining through of the wadge coal seam. Please <br />provide information to the Division discussing the operators intention to comply with the <br />approved groundwater monitoring planif any wells associated with the plan become damaged <br />or unusable. <br />12. Proposed page 2.04 -172 identifies Table 2.04.11 -T7 as PSCM Wildlife Monitoring Summary 12 -13. <br />No Table 2.04.11 -T7 was included in the submittal. Please submit any referenced material for <br />review. <br />13. Approved page 2.05 -6 states that, coal may be stockpiled for public sales. This information is not <br />included on proposed page 2.05 -6.
