March 2014
Stonewall Springs — QA/QC Plan
4.0 SITE VISITS AND GENERAL OBSERVATIONS
The CQA Engineer shall conduct site visits, to ensure that all outstanding issues are resolved on a timely
basis, and to review personally the progress and methodology of the Contractor and Subcontractor. The
schedule of these site visits will be determined by project demands. They will include milestone progress
marks, such as at the completion of the excavation, foundation approval, and at the completion of the
work. The SEO shall be notified 48 hours in advance of each milestone and site visit, so as to provide
ample opportunity for a SEO representative to observe the construction activities, and to review
inspection reports and as -built drawings being maintained by the Contractor.
In addition, the CQA Engineer will make site visits in order to review the progress and any aspects of the
project that are particularly critical to the performance of the system or when a problem arises which
cannot be easily resolved or which impacts the design of the reservoir.
For those portions of the site visits that take place in the construction area, hard hats, vests, and steel -toe
boots shall be worn. All parties involved in the site visit shall check in at the Contractor's field trailer to
obtain an identification badge prior to entering the site.
