2.0 SUMMARY OF EARTHWORK CONSTRUCTION
Earthworks activities associated with the LOB relocation included the following:
■ Underground workings remediation, including excavation, confirmatory drilling,
installation of CSB;
■ Site grading, including cut /fill and blasting;

■ SLF installation, placement and compaction, depth verification testing, and preparation
of SLF surface for geomembrane deployment; and
■ DCF placement above the upper geomembrane layer.
Ames generally used the following equipment during construction:
