48
1 reincorporate, that was part of their permit, prime
2 farmland statistics into the permit.
3 MR. KAMPER: Is there a question? I
4 mean, it sounds like she's starting her part of
5 presentation. That's fine if she wants to do that
6 during her presentation, but this is
7 cross - examination.
8 MS. TURNER: This is not my
9 presentation. He's giving facts. It wasn't a 1999
10 soil survey. It was 1992.
11 MR. KAMPER: Objection. She's
12 entitled to ask questions, but she's not entitled to
13 start giving a speech.
14 MR. PAULIN: Any more questions?
15 MR. WADE: I would like to address a
16 comment there. There are two documents that can be
17 used to do prime farmland. One is the national
18 handbook as JoEllen Turner referred to, and the
19 other one is the Colorado Important Farmland
20 Inventory.
21 That was the one that was used for
22 the survey. We were never told at that time by
23 anyone at NRCS or at the division that that -- that
24 that was incorrect and we had to use the national
25 handbook.
