of 702.6 feet at a rate of 0.1 foot every 5 minutes. The rate slowly decreased to 0.1 foot
every 15 minutes.
The bit was pulled back to 1,929 feet and two batches of 25% LCM mud were built up and
pumped downhole with no returns. A third batch of mud was then mixed with 35% LCM
and enough Poly Plus added to bring the viscosity to 100+ cP. This mixture was pumped
downhole with the bit at 1,475 feet MD KB (A- Groove stratigraphic zone) and returns were
established. The pipe was staged in the hole, breaking and maintaining circulation at every
stand until bottom was reached at 1,986 feet MD KB (L5 -E stratigraphic zone), where
returns were lost again. Halliburton was contacted to set Cement Plug No. 6.
Halliburton mixed and pumped the sixth cement plug, finishing at 11:30 hours on
July 13, 2013. This plug consisted of: 10 bbls of 10% CaCI water, 10 bbls of fresh water, 10
barrels of SuperFlush 101, 10 bbls of fresh water and a 60 sack batch of 13.5 ppg PlugCem.
This was displaced with 25 barrels of fresh water. Capstar tripped out to 1,300 feet MD KB
and waited on cement until 19:15 hours, when 190 barrels of mud was pumped downhole
with no returns. Halliburton trucks and equipment remained onsite from the previous job;
another 100 sack mix was ordered.
Capstar tripped in the hole and tagged up at a depth of 1,984 feet MD KB. Prior to
pumping the cement, Capstar pumped a 50 barrel LCM pill with a viscosity of 55 cP mixed
with 35% LCM and 1,000 pounds of salt. The Halliburton Cementing crew mixed and
pumped Cement Plug No. 7; the job was finished at 04:00 hours on July 14, 2013. The
seventh plug consisted of: 10 bbls of 10% CaCI water, 10 bbls of fresh water, 10 barrels of
SuperFlush 101, 10 bbls of fresh water and a 60 sack batch of 13.5 ppg PlugCem. This was
displaced with 25 barrels of fresh water. Capstar flushed the pipe and pulled back to
1,360 feet MD KB to wait on the cement to set.
Capstar ran back in the hole and tagged bottom at 1,986 feet MD KB in the L5 -E
stratigraphic zone without tagging cement. Halliburton remained on location. They
Daub & Associates, Inc. Page 8 of 13 10H -1V Well Summary Report
