2012 Annual Reclamation Report <br />DRMS Item 13. Exhibit 2012 -7 is labeled backfrll. Does this Exhibit also include <br />grading? If so, please label the Exhibit Backfill and Grading. (Comment 4) <br />WFC Response: Exhibit 2012 -7 label is corrected in the attachment. <br />DRMS Item 14. Attachment 2012 -B is missing title. Exhibit 2012 -4 has incorrect total <br />PLS /Ac for Seed Mix #8. According to the Permit, it should be 5.8 PLS /Ac. Seed Mix #8 in <br />the ARR also has the incorrect total. Seed tags presented in the ARR should be consistent <br />with the approved seed mix in the Permit. If they aren't an explanation should be provided in <br />the ARR narrative explaining the differences. (Comment 6) <br />WFC Response: The Attachment 2012 -B title page was inadvertently missed and is <br />included in the revised document, along with seeding information. The Exhibit 2012 -4 Seed Mix <br />#8 comment was removed. WFC reviewed the Seed Mix #8 in the Permit, and does not believe <br />it is incorrect. The confusion could be with the need to only broadcast the Forage Kochia. It is <br />also recommended to seed Forage Kochia when there is snow present;, therefore, Forage Kochia <br />must be applied at a different time at 0.6PLS /Ac. Attachment 2012 -B contains seed tags that are <br />for 2012 year seeding. Two seed tags are included: Seed Mix #8 and Forage Kochia. <br />DRMS Item 15. For the annual weed and pest control activities, report the specific <br />chemicals used and the application rates in the ARR. (Comment 8) <br />WFC Response: Attachment 2012 -E is enclosed with the revised ARR. This attachment <br />contains chemical names, application rates, areas of application, dates of application, as well as <br />targeted species. <br />DRMS Item 16. Please provide a copy of any Revegetation and wildlife monitoring that <br />was conducted or state that monitoring was not conducted. (Comment 9 and 10) <br />WFC Response: There are two revegetation monitoring reports for 2012, both are now <br />included in the revised ARR as Attachment 2012 -F. A wildlife monitoring program was not been <br />performed on the NI-12 Permit in 2012. The revised ARR reflects both issues. <br />DRMS Item 17. A number of inconsistencies were noted between the grazing and <br />irrigation exhibits, tracking sheets and the narrative in the ARR. Please review the exhibits, <br />tracking worksheets and the narrative so the information is correctly reported in the ARR. If <br />there are inconsistencies, please provide and explanation. (Comment 11,12) <br />WFC Response: An irrigation section was added to the revised ARR providing general <br />comments on the irrigation process performed on the NI-12 area. The grazing section was <br />reviewed and changes were made to be consistent between the ARR narrative, the Farm Reports, <br />and the exhibits.
