verify no significant, valuable, and permanent man -made structures are on the <br />affected land or with two hundred feet of the affected land. <br />As discussed during the pre - operational inspection, please include the property <br />line fences and overhead electric line on the Pre - mining and Mining Plan Maps. <br />There is a man -made fence encompassing the entire pit property. There is <br />also an overhead power line on the south boundary. The power line also <br />extends into the property, providing electrical service to the Bartons when <br />they bring a camper to the site. Highline Electric was provided notice of <br />the proposed expansion. Proof of notification was by electronic tracking <br />and is attached. <br />6. Rule 6.2.1(2) requires maps be signed by a registered land surveyor, <br />professional engineer, or other qualified person. The Mine Plan maps submitted <br />to the Division were not signed. Please resubmit signed copies of the maps. <br />All maps are attached with a signature. These maps were all put together by <br />Randy Schafer. <br />6.4.4 Exhibit D - Mining Plan <br />7. Please state the nature of the stratum immediately beneath the material to <br />be mined as required by Rule 6.4.4(f) (i). <br />The stratum immediately beneath the mined material is a clay -like <br />substance. <br />8. Please specify if explosives will be used in conjunction with the mining or <br />reclamation as required by Rule 6.4.4(1). <br />No explosives will be utilized in this mining operation. <br />6.4.5 Exhibit E- Reclamation Plan <br />9. Please provide a description of the type of reclamation the Operator /Applicant <br />proposes to achieve in the reclamation of the affected land, why each was <br />chosen, the amount of acreage accorded to each, and a general discussion of <br />methods of reclamation as related to the mechanics of earthmoving. <br />10. Please provide a comparison of the proposed post- mining land use to other land <br />uses in the vicinity and to adopted state and local land use plans and programs. <br />
