Mr. Michael Cunningham 15
CDRMS
November 26, 2013
Task 2 - Reclaim Low -Grade Stockpiles. (±$2,500). Low grade stockpile
material be placed in the TSF and these areas be graded and seeded;
Task 3 — Cap Monitoring Wells. ( ±1,200). Monitoring wells will be capped by
filling the entire well with aggregate, and the last 2ft with concrete.
Task 4 — Remove On -Site Reagents. (±$3,000). On -site reagents will be
removed from site, and properly disposed with the exception of remaining lime
which will be placed in the TSF and copper sulfate which will also be placed in
the TSF. Copper sulfate is relatively benign, and no more than approximately
100lbs of copper sulfate will be on site. Placing this material in the TSF will have
di minimus impact on the environment.
The mill circuit will be flushed with process water, which will report to the TSF.
Maximum process water capacity is about 10,000 gal and can be easily
accommodated in the TSF.
Fresh process water (10,500 gal), and potable water (2,000 gal) will report to the
municipal sewer system. Fire water (10,000 gal) will remain on site for post -
milling industrial use.
Task 5 - Process Remaining RoM Material. (±$2,250). All RoM material within
the mill building storage bins be crushed, ground, neutralized and placed in the
TSF;
Task 6 — Remove Mill Equipment. (±$16,100). All mill equipment on site will be
removed and transported to a nearby (approx. 1 mile) salvage yard.
Overall direct reclamation costs are estimated to be about $42,250. Indirect costs
including mobilization and demobilization of equipment, liability insurance for
operations, performance bond, contractor profit, and project management are estimated
to be about $13,150. Total reclamation costs are estimated to be about $55,400.
Text in Exhibit D, Reclamation Plan has been updated to reflect changes discussed in
this letter.
6.3.5 Exhibit E -Map
26. Figure 6 -2 depicts a circular shaped facility on the east side of the crushing building. The
Division assumes that this is the ore storage bunker. Please label this facility on Figure
6 -2.
Response:
This was in fact the ore storage bunker; however it has been removed from Figure 6 -2.
See response to question 7.
27. Figure 6 -2 depicts a new crusher facility and truck scale. The Division understands that
these facilities are conceptual and will be addressed under a future permit revision.
Please remove these structures from Figure 6 -2.
Response:
Structures have been removed from Figure 6 -2. See response to question 7.
