<br />Part 1 _ General (Contd) <br /> <br />'. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Strewnflow.data assembled in the attached tabul~tions consist <br />principally of recorded volumes but include quantities calculated from <br />related data, where necessary to comp1a te the records for the study <br />period. They disclose the total flows including floods, rather than <br />water supplies usabl~ for irrigation, at stations upstream from Caddos, <br />on the Arkansas River at Canon City~_Pueblo and La Junt~, and on the <br />Puragtoire River at it~ mouth near Las Animas, at the Caddoa. station on <br />the Arkansas River, and at stations on the Arkansas River do~stream fram <br />Caddoa at Lamsr, Colorado, at the Ststeline between Colorado and Kans~s, <br />and at Syracuse and Garden City in Kansas. The total flows at Canon <br />City and Pueblo appearing in the attached. tabulations include waters <br />imported from the Colorado River e~tem. the amounts of which are <br />tabulated separately and must be deduoted to arrive at the Arkansas River <br />"ate!." at those stations. <br />Diversion data assembled in the attached tabulations consist of <br />recorded quantities exoept where calculated or estimated values were <br />supplied to complete the reoord,. and are assembled by groups of ditches, <br />all of which divert from the Arkansas River for direct irrigation and <br />storage purposes,. as follows: in Colorado Water Districts 14 and 17 <br />upstream from Caddoal in Colorado Water District 67 downstream fr~ <br />Caddoa, with segregations by sub-groups. above and below Lwnarl and in <br />Kansas between the State line and Garden City, with segregations by sub. <br />groups above and below Syracuse..
