<br />.. <br /> <br />Part 1 - General (Contd) <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Colorado Rive~ system, and exolusive of the quantities involved in <br />reservoir-river exohange~ whioh were reoorded at the time they were <br />diverted for storage purposes. <br />Reservoir data inolude determinations by offioial surveys by <br />the Corps of Engineers of the initial surface areas and storage capacities <br />prior to any siltation of the John Martin Reservoir. They also inolude <br />calculations of probable rates of evaporation and siltation, and <br />estimations of potential aocumulations of sediment and their resulting <br />effects on reservoir oapacities. <br />Other data include information conoerning potential additional <br />uses upstream from Caddoa and assumed headgate diversion requirements <br />of ditohes in ColoradO Water District 67, being information compiled for <br />use in reservoir and river operations etudies. Other data also include <br />net river gains Lamar to State line, with segregations between the portions <br />caloulated as usable and unusable in Kansasl aocretions Caddoa to <br /> <br /> <br />Stateline, and the portions thereof usable by ditohes below Caddoal and a <br /> <br /> <br />segregation of total State line flows. to show those divertible and usable <br /> <br /> <br />in Kansas, all in accordance with definitions of divertibility and <br /> <br /> <br />usability appearing on the tabulations. <br /> <br /> <br />Muoh of the engineering data assembled in the attached tabulations <br /> <br /> <br />were previously compiled and accepted as exhibits in the case of Colorado <br /> <br /> <br />v. Kansas. The exhibit period 1908-1938 has been extended by the addition <br /> <br /> <br />of four years of records to cover the 1908-1942 study period herein adopted, <br /> <br /> <br />and the calender_year bases of the exhibit assemblies have been converted <br /> <br />.., <br /> <br />.' <br /> <br />'. <br /> <br />-5-- <br />
