<br />o <br />- <br />C", <br />~,! <br /> <br />c <br /> <br />facili tie s are used jointly the co st shall be apportioned on the <br /> <br />basis of energy actually taken, both firm and secondary, or the <br /> <br />energy which each affected allottee is obl igated to take and/or <br /> <br />pay for, whichever is the greater. <br /> <br />Additional Dower plant building costs incidental to the <br /> <br />installation of additi.onal machinery and equipment shall be <br /> <br />charged to building cost and amortized through the energy rate. <br /> <br />Amortization Periods. <br /> <br />The amortization PJ riod for construction costs of <br /> <br />generatinf machinery and equipment placed in service prior <br /> <br />to June 1, 1937, shall be the 50-year pGriod ending May 31, 1987. <br /> <br />The amortization period for construction costs of generating <br /> <br />machinery and equipment placed in service subsequent to June 1, <br /> <br />1937, shall be the 50-year period beginning with the first day of <br /> <br />the month following the date on which the machinery and equipment <br /> <br />are placed in service. <br /> <br />Amorti zation periods of generating machinery and equipment <br /> <br />co sts may be prolonged only for the callses set forth in section 3 <br /> <br />of the Act. <br /> <br />Operation and Maintenance of Generating Machinery and Equipment. <br /> <br />Operation and maintenance costs of gen0rating machinery and <br /> <br />equipment shall be based upon certified statements of costs <br /> <br />incurred by tho agonts, prepared in accordance with the provisions <br /> <br />of the agency con tracts. Such co sts shall be apportioned to the <br /> <br />various allottees on a direct charge basis where practicable, <br />
