An <br /> <br />already involved accounting probh:m is further complicated by <br /> <br />the k~ck of firm commitments on the part of the States of <br /> <br />Arizona and Nevada to take end/or pay for any definite quantity <br /> <br />of energy throughout the 50-year period or to come to an agree- <br /> <br />ment as to responsibility for crerges on equipment rendered idle <br /> <br />as a result of increased uses by the States. <br /> <br />Wi th thuse elements in mind the following detGrminations <br /> <br />have been made and the rosults reflected in the tabulations <br /> <br />eppended hereto and marked "Summary of Generating Charges" and <br /> <br />Schedules A, B, C and D. <br /> <br />Amortization of Advances for Generating Machinery and Equipment. <br /> <br />The ru~ounts to be amortized by generating charges are the <br /> <br />construction costs of generating machinery and equipment, <br /> <br />including interest during construction, as recorded on the books <br /> <br />of accounts of the Bureau of Reclamation. <br /> <br />The apoortionment of cmrgos for ffi"lortization 0f advances <br /> <br />for generating machinery and equipment shall b" on the basis of <br /> <br />the cost of construction of tho facilities used in whole or in <br /> <br />part to gonerato energy for each particulpl' 2.llottee.
