Seedskadee Project, Nyonung

All phases of the investigation are contirroing. A total of five
holes were drilled at the Fontenelle damsite which disclosed bedrock to be
a maxiuIum of 19 feet below ground level and of suitable quality for dam
construction.

Savery-Pot Hook Pro,iect, Colorado-Wyoming

The prelilninary draft of the feasibility report was completed
in July and circulated to interested local, State and Federal agencies
for informal review. Comments have been received from the State of Vlyoming
requesting that the Savery Dam and Dolan Hesa canal feature s be separated
from the remaining project for construction by the State of Wyoming.
Further progress on the report has been deferred to await the State of
Colorado's comments and further clarification of plans for the develop-
ment of the area.

Yampa-White Project. Colorado-Wyoming-Utah

Land classification field surveys have been completed in the
Hayden Bench, Josephine Basin, Yellow Jacket, Williams River and Wessels
areas. Preliminary appraisals have been completed for the Wessels,
Josephine Basin and Yellow Jacket areas. Surveys and studies on the
HaJ!den Bench, Jixial Basin and Deadmans Bench areas have been started.

Cliffs-Divide Pro,i ect, Colorado

Substantiating rep:>rts for the various units have been corr,-
pleted. No further \<orlc is programmed for t his fiscal year.

DeBeque Project, Colorado-Utah

Surveys and studies for the reconnaissance report were continued.
A cost esti=te for relocating the D&RG railroad around DeBeque Reservoir
was prepared by the railroad company.

Cedaredge Division. Gunnison River Project. Colorado

Surveys and studies for the reconnaissance rep:>rt were continued.

Orchard Mesa Division. Grand Valley Project. Colorado

Surveys and studies for rehabilitation and betterment program to be recom-
mended to Congress in F . Y. 1956 are nearing completion. Preparation of a
special report has been started.

Collbran Project, Colorado

In vi~. of the Grand Junction City Council's decision to withdraw
from the project, investigations are being undertaken on a modified plan in
which municipal water features would be eliminated. It is planned to sub-
mit a revised definite plan report by October 1955 at which time a decision
can be made as to whether reauthorization of the project will be needed.
