For that reason they did not handle 1966 <br />water purchases through the company, but rather in the <br />way described elsewhere in this report. <br /> <br />The Directors said that their experience in purchasing <br /> <br />COlorado-Big Thompson water was unsatisfactory since they were <br /> <br />charged a 50 percent transmission loss in the river and suffered <br /> <br />a further 30 percent shrink in their canal, resulting in only 35 <br /> <br />percent of the water actually being delivered to the farm head- <br /> <br />gates. <br /> <br />They are able to purchase water from several sources of <br /> <br />storage, primarily Jackson Lake Reservoir, Riverside Reservoir, <br /> <br />WOODWARD.CLYOE.SHERARD AHD ASSOCIATES <br />
