(Interview, Robert E. Hogsett, 1/31/67). <br />Millard Huey said that the stockholders under the Bijou <br />system have been unable to get an accounting of the amount of in- <br />terest earned from the $200,000 received for sale of 2,000 units <br />of C-BT water to Longmont and Boulder, nor any explanation of why <br />the entire amount is on deposit in the Farmers State Bank of Fort <br />Morgan. Huey thought that it should be invested in more diverse <br />securities. (Interview, Millard Huey, 2/7/67). <br /> <br />3. Jackson Lake Reservoir <br />The headgate of the Jackson Lake Inlet Canal is on the north <br />side of the South Platte River at Masters. The canal runs to the <br />Jackson Lake Reservoir, located on the north side of the river <br />about 2 miles northwest of Goodrich. The outlet canal returns to <br />the South Platte River (crossing the Weldon Valley Ditch) near <br />Goodrich. The outlet is downstream from the headgates of the <br />Riverside, Bijou, and Weldon Valley systems, and upstream from <br />the Fort Morgan Canal, upper Platte and Beaver Canal, Deuel and <br />Snyder Ditch, Lower Platte and Beaver Canal, etc. The Jackson <br />Lake system can be seen on U.S.G.S. Quadrangle maps for the <br />Masters, orchard, and Sunken Lake Quadrangles. <br />The Jackson Lake Reservoir storage priority is known as a <br />"rod" decree, i.e., it calls for filling the reservoir to a <br />gauge height of 30 feet, rather than an amount in acre-feet.
