'"
...
~~ (e) Cone intake ditch improvements

The Cone reservoir intake ditch currently extends to the

south from the reservoir for about 5 miles to the diversion points

on the Northwest flank of Lone Cone Mountain. Proposed

improvements to the ditch would increase the capacity and reduce

the annual maintenance. The ditch length is about 9.8 miles.

(f) Lilylands intake ditch.

The ditch would connect the enlarged Lily1ands reservoir to

the rest of the project features east of the reservoir and allow

project water to be used in the Lilylands system. It is expected

that 50 cfs flow in the ditch may be enough to fill the Li1y1ands

reservoir.

The construction of the intake ditch is expected to increase

the reliability of the water supply in the Lilylands system. The
length of the ditch is estimated to be about 13 miles.

(g) Lilylands reservoir enlargement.

A significant enlargement of the Li1ylands reservoir is

proposed, which would increase its present capacity of 700

acre-feet by 5800 acre-feet. The maximum embankment height is

expected to De increased to laO-feet.

-5-
