The phmt is to have an initial capacity of <br />lRO,OOO kw, with the possibility of an additional installation of <br />.t,'),OOO kw. The reservoir created will have a capacity of about <br />1,500,000 acre-feel. The cost of the Pl'oje-et is estimated to be <br />~ 12,000,000 and it is planned to complete it in HI.15, <br />This project has been under consideration for many yenrs as a <br />supplement to the Boulder Canyon Project. It will function as a <br />rere}!u!ating reservoir, thus increasing the firm power output of <br />Boulder Dam. and will develop an additional power head of 100 to <br />1:!5 feet. <br />As of 19-15. the estimated energy annually .I\'ailahle from Davis <br />power plant is 860,000,000 kwhr of firm, and :!15,OOo,noo kwh!' of <br />st'condary energy.
