Udall <br /> <br />-8- <br /> <br />January 29, 1962 <br /> <br />Such thermal generated electric energy so delivered to the United States <br /> <br />shall be generated by the most economical generating units in the Firming <br /> <br />Thermal Systems after generation by such units of the requirements of <br /> <br />the customE!rs of the Firming Thermal Systems at generator loadings and <br /> <br />transmission facility loadings in accordance with good operating practice. <br /> <br />Contract Provisions <br /> <br />The Contract shall include pr~visions as set forth in the aforesaid Proposal <br /> <br />and Statement of Purpose and Intent and such other provisions as may 'be mutually, <br /> <br /> <br />agr<;>ed upon, and in addition shall contain provisions substantially as follows: <br /> <br />1.. The Firming Thermal Sy!,\tems will designate a Thermal System . <br /> <br />Energy Coordinator who will re:present the Thermal Systems in energy <br /> <br />and monetary transactions with the United States under this Contract. <br /> <br />The Thermal System Energy Coordinator will schedule the supply and <br /> <br />exchange of electric energy with the designated representative of the <br /> <br />United States and will administer the energy transactions between the <br /> <br />Thermal Systems including the necessary accounting. <br /> <br />2. Each year, in advance of the navigation season, the Bureau <br /> <br />shall furnish the Thermal System Energy Coordinator with an estimate <br /> <br />of the energy available to the hydro system and the load requirements <br /> <br />of its customers for each navigation season and non-navigation season <br /> <br />for the following four years. <br /> <br />3.
