Data collection and the entire H&E <br />effort in the eRSe program has been strengthened by the efforts <br />of the SCS state offices and the eRSe M&E team. <br /> <br />d. urge completion of final plan and EIS for Big Sandy and early <br />imple~entation; <br /> <br />RESPONSE: <br /> <br />The final EIS for the Big Sandy and formal Record of Decision <br />should be concluded by the end of December 1987. This will allow <br />the selected plan to oe finalized and project implementation to <br />proceed in FY 1988 pending the availability of eRSe program funds. <br /> <br />e. seek local input and support to revised implementation plan for <br />Lower Gunnison; <br /> <br />RESPONSE: <br /> <br />The local salinity coordinating committees in the Lower Gunnison <br />have formulated Project Implementation Plans (PIP's) for four <br />separate sub-units of the Lower Gunnison project. These PIP's <br />reflect local input and support for implementing these subunits. <br /> <br />f. 'urges U8BR/SeS to expeditiously carry out the Price-San Rafael <br />joint planning process. <br /> <br />RESPONSE: <br /> <br />As reported at the September 25, 1987 Forum work Group meeting, <br />ses and BR are continuing to pursue the development of a joint <br />project plan for the cost-effective features of the Price-San <br />Rafael Unit. More efforts will be devoted to the activity in the <br />coming year. <br /> <br />
