The Colorado River Water Conservation District, the Palisade Irrigation <br />District and other western slope water users are interested in the <br />extent to which Green Mountain Reservoir and the regulated flows of <br />Blue River may satisfy the replacement provisions of Senate Document 80 <br />and, further, the protection of future uses as also described in Senate <br />Document 80. <br />4. The Public Service Company of Colorado is interested as a senior approp- <br />riator and as a potential benefiCiary under the terms of Senate Document <br />80 since the manner of project operation relates to the satisfaction of <br />the ccmp~ls power right at Shoshone Power Plant. <br />S. The City and County of Denver, the City of Colorado Springs and the City <br />of Englewood are interested from the standpoint of their respective ability <br />to divert and utilize waters of the Blue, Fraser and Williams ForR Rivers. <br />Numerous analyses have been made from time to time under ass"IDptions which fit the <br />particular situation at the time. It now seems appropriate to summarize the results of <br />more recent studies. These studies were made to determine the effect on Colorado-Big <br />Thompson Project of certain proposals which have been made qy the City and County of <br />Denver and the Cities of Colorado Springs and Englewood in an attempt to settle contro- <br />versial issues in the pending case before the Federal District Court.
