<br />2 <br /> <br />While at Harza, Mr. Tczap was assigned for two years to the resident engineers' staff at the <br />525-megawatt Guri Hydroelectric project in Venezuela. His duties included checking contractor- <br />prepared drawings, preparing field designs, assisting the clients' construction inspection crew and <br />preparing construction reports. Upon his return from Venezuela, he was assigned as group leader to <br />the Mechnical Division where he supervised the design and preparation of specifications for gates <br />and hoists for water resources projects. Typical assignments ranged from small slide gates to some of <br />the world'S largest filted wheel and radial gates. <br /> <br />In addition he served as a structural engineer with the United States Bureau of Reclamation <br />in Denver, where he worked on the Glen Canyon and the Flaming Gorge projects. <br /> <br />Mr. Tczap holds Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees in civil engineering from <br />Michigan Technological University. He is a registered professional engineer in Colorado and Tennes- <br />see and a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers, United States Committee on Large <br />Darns and Chi Epsilon.
