Such water would be convertible to M&I purposes (as <br />specified in the Colorado Ute Indian Water Rights Senlement .Act) and depletions as specified in Ihe Colorado <br />Ute Indian Water Rights Settlement Agreement. <br />Z Project irrigation supplies take into account Project shortages which apply to irregular interruptions of <br />service based upon available water. <br />3 Retum flows and reservoir evaporation constitute the diHerence between supply and depletion. <br /> <br /> <br />on the Animas River as identified in the Settlement Agreement. Use of water by the Ute <br />Tribes would follow additional appropriate NEPA compliance. Reclamation would <br />participate and/or assist in the subsequent NEPA compliance, as appropriate. <br /> <br />! . <br /> <br />When fully operational and under full Project demand, 80,100 acre-feet of diversion, <br />either from Durango Pumping Plant or directly from the Animas and San Juan Rivers, <br />would take place. Return flows from M&\ use would occur in the Animas, San Juan, and <br />La Plata Rivers.
