The contractor <br /> <br />has submitted all data called for under the contract but final checking <br /> <br />has not been completed. A proposed feasibility report is scheduled for <br /> <br />completion in F.Y. 1968. <br /> <br />Feasibility designs and estimates are being prepared for sectionsof <br /> <br />the Josephine Basin Canal and Yellow Jacket Canal, Milk Creek can~, Lost <br /> <br />Park Collection system, and project laterals. Assembly of design data <br /> <br />for other project features is in progress. The Project Lands and Drain- <br /> <br />age appendices are essentially completed and work is continuing on the <br /> <br />Plan Formulation, Water Supply, and Agricultural Economy appendices. The <br /> <br />proposed feasibility report is scheduled for completion at the end of <br /> <br />this fiscal year. <br /> <br />Preparations are being made to initiate land classification on the <br /> <br />Basalt Project area in the spring. This work will be accomplished with <br /> <br />funds contributed by the Basalt Water Conservancy District. <br /> <br />There are no new developments to report on the Animas-La Plata, <br /> <br />Dolores, Dallas Creek, San Miguel, and West Divide Projects. <br /> <br />Work now progressing on the Fruitland Mesa Project consists of sed- <br /> <br />imentation studies, new farm unit layout studies, and preparation of <br /> <br />the operation and maintenance appendix. <br /> <br />Advance Plannin~ <br /> <br />Recent developments may make it necessary to revise the feasibility <br /> <br />designs and estimates for the S~p Park Dam. The slide areas above the <br /> <br />right abutment will require rotating the dam axis slightly downstream and <br /> <br />5 <br />
