Concern for cultural resources and native <br />American sacred sites would warrant careful consideration of <br />any proposal that increased foot traffic in some areas of <br />Glen/Grand Canyons. <br /> <br />3. Introduction of hatchery native fishes to augment poor or <br />no-reproduction among common native fish. Reintroduction of <br />extirpated fish species. <br /> <br />4. Address the reintroduction of extirpated, threatened, and <br />endangered species. <br /> <br />Safety <br /> <br />5. High flows for artificial manipulation of boulders in rapids <br />to make navigatable rapids which have become hazards to <br />human life. <br /> <br />6. At some of the more difficult sites, such as Three-Mile Bar, <br />would be dredged and maintained for safe passage. Such an <br />approach would only be viable for flows below 3,000 csf. <br /> <br />Not Alternatives <br /> <br />7. Better education or information transfer to recreationists <br />regarding flows, campsites which need recovery, erosion <br />problems, trailing, etc. <br /> <br />8.
