* Seasonally Adjusted Constant Flows (higher release in
summer, lower in winter). This would be combined with
a beach building window, alternative hydrology options,
alternative peaking (pump storage) beach/back water
improvements, and changes in agency management plans.

* slurry Pipeline. This would be combined with a beach
building window, operational restrictions to benefit
sediment deposition, beach/back water improvements, and
changes in agency management plans.

* Beach Building Window. This would be combined with
operational restrictions to benefit sediment
deposition, beach improvements, and changes in agency
management plans.

* Single Set of Operational Criteria (High = 20,000 -
27,500 cfs, Low Winter 3,000 - 5,000 cfs, Low Summer
5,000 - 8,000 cfs, Ramping 5,000 cfs/hr). This would
be combined with a beach building window, alternative
hydrology options, beaCh/back water improvements, and
changes in agency management plans.

* Reregulating Dam. This would be combined with a beach
building window, operational restrictions to benefit
sediment deposition, beaCh/back water improvements, and
changes in agency management plans.

* Multi-Level Outworks. This would be combined with a
beach building window, beach/back water improvements,
and changes in agency management plans.

9. Restricted ramping rate with alternative power supplies
(i.e. pump storage, natural gas)

10. Baseload Alternative. This alternative runs constant flows
with seasonal variations to accommodate the various water
years i.e., low, medium, and high. There would be no load
following generation and an additional facility, such as
spring Canyon, would have to be developed for peaking power.
Releases would be based on current delivery requirements
rather than power generation. This alternative would
include the reintroduction of native species.

OTHER

Fisheries

1. Stock hatchery fish (to supplement loss of trout fry from
desiccated spawning beds)

19
