You state that aggregate materials for the tunnel
concrete will be obtained below the dam site. On page 6, line 6, however,
a possible source of aggregate for the dam itself is upstream of the dam
site. Cannot a9gregate for both the tunnel and dam be obtained from the
reservoir basin? I would so urge.

Page 8, paragraph 2 deals with housing of construction employees.
What means will be used to restore this site after the construction employees
leave?

Page 11 and 12. What measures are to be taken to remove trees prior
to use of the reservoir? Particularly, will trees to be inundated and later
exposed be cut thus avoiding the unsightly mess of standing dead trees?

Page 12, line 9 states that the water temperature was reduced by the
Blue Mesa and Morrow Dams. If temperatures were reduced, why are there
now warm water fish present instead of trout? If the Blue Mesa and
Morrow Dams decrease the fishin9 quality, won't the Crystal Dam further
reduce quality? On page 15 statements about improved quality are made;
these contradict the statements on page 12,

l:~ :;'. ':-J
.. '" ,,90)
