ADJUSTMENTS OF RECORDS <br /> <br />The Commission shall keep a record of the looation and desoription <br />of eaoh gaging station and evaporation station. and, in the event of <br />ohange in location of any stream gaging station for any reason. it shall <br />ascertain the increment in flow or deorease in flow between suoh looations <br />for all stages. wherever practicable, conourrent reoords shall be obtain- <br />ed tor one year before abandonment of the previous station. <br /> <br />NEW OR INCREASED DEPUTIONS <br /> <br />In the event e:tJ:1 works are oonstruoted whioh alter or may be expeot- <br />ed to alter the flow at an.y of the Index Gaging Stations mentioned in the <br />Compaot. or whioh may otherwise neoessitate adjustments in the application <br />of the sohedules set forth in the Compaot. it shall be the duty of the <br />Commissioner specifioally concerned to file with the Commission all avail- <br />able information pertaining thereto. and appropriate adjustments shall be <br />made in acoordanoe with the terms of the Compaotl provided, however, that <br />any such adjustments shall in no way inorease the burden imposed upon <br />Colorado or N_ Mexico under the schedules of deliveries established by <br />the Compact. <br /> <br />TRANS-MOUNTADi DIVERSIONS <br /> <br />In the event any works are oonstruoted for the delivery of waters in- <br />to the drainage oasin of the Rio Grande from my streBm system outside of <br />the Rio Gran.de Basin, suoh waters shall be measured at the point of delivery <br />into the Rio Gran.de Basin lII1d proper allowance shall be made for losses in <br />transit from suoh points to the Index Gaging station on the stre81!l with <br />whioh the imported waters are commingled. <br /> <br />QUALITY OF WATER <br /> <br />In the event that delivery of water is made from the Closed Basin into <br />the Rio Grande. sufficient samples of suoh _ter shall be analyzed to as':' <br />certain whether the quality thereof is within the limits established by <br />the Compaot. <br /> <br />SECRETARY <br /> <br />The Commission shall employ a seoretary who shall be a registered <br />professional engineer, or a Corporate Member of the Amerioan Sooiety of <br />Civil Engineers, experienoed in irrigation. agrioultural or hydraulio <br />engineering. lhe period of employment of the seoretary shall be at the <br />pleasure of the Commission but not exoeeding one year. at the end of <br />whioh period h1sservices shall automatically terminate, provided, how- <br />
