<br />00 <br /> <br />,..... <br />~ <br /> <br />, ') <br />~'-1 <br /> <br />;...) <br /> <br /><.~; <br /> <br />ever. that the Commission, upon unanimous agreSI:lent, may extend his employ- <br />ment for a period not exceeding one year following the year within which <br />his employment has been automatioally terminated, or may employ another <br />individual under like oonditions with respect to period of employment, it <br />being the intent and purpose of the Canmission to limit the term of employ- <br />ment of any suoh appointee so that any re-appointment, or the appointment <br />of any sucoessor, can be made for a period of but one year, and then only <br />by the unanimous action of the Commission, <br /> <br />The salary of the seoretary shall be determined by the Commission. <br />He shall be reimbursed for his neoessary traTeling expenses inourred in <br />p8rfor:ning his offioial duties. as may be determined by the COlIllIIission. <br /> <br />Each of the respective states, at its own expense, shall provide <br />adequate office facilities for the use of the seoretary of the Commission. <br /> <br />It shall be the duty of the seoretary to oolleot and correlate all <br />faotual data and other reoords having a bearing upon the administration <br />of the Compaot, and to keep eaoh COllllllissioner advised thereof. It shall <br />be the further duty of the seoretary to inspect all gaging stations main- <br />tained by the Commission, and to make recollllllendations to the Commission <br />as to any ohanges or improvements to existing stations, and for the ad- <br />dition of n~ stations, to the end that reliable reoords may be had for <br />the proper oarrying out of the provisions of the Compact. <br />, <br /> <br />The seoretary shall report to each Commissioner by letter on or <br />before the fifteenth day of each month, except January. a summary of all <br />~drographio data then available for the current year - on forms presoribed <br />by the Commission - pertaining to: <br /> <br /> <br />(a) Deliveries by Colorado at State Line; <br /> <br />(b) Deliveries by New Mexioo at San Marcial; and <br /> <br />(c) Release and Spill trom Projeot Storage. <br /> <br />He shall also oompile a oomplete report oovering his secretarial <br />activities, end a slIIDIllary of all faotual data required by the Compaot <br />during the preceding oalendar year, and submit the same to the CClIB- <br />mission at its regular meeting in February, first following the oalen- <br />dar year oovered by such report. <br /> <br />The seoretary shall oarry on suoh other duties as the Commission may <br />assign to him from time to time, and shall devote llis entire time to the <br />duties of his office. He shall execute and deliver a surety bond satis- <br />faotory to the Commission, conditioned upon the faithful performanoe of <br />the duties of his office. <br />
