<br />00 <br />00 <br />en <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />.- <br /> <br />Participation <br /> <br />o <br />:.~:) <br /> <br />Reclamation will conduct the participation survey on lateral groupings <br /> <br />in the following order: <br /> <br />(1) The Kiefer Laterals. <br /> <br />(2) The Mainline Canal Laterals to its split. <br /> <br />(3) The Grand Valley High1ine Laterals. <br /> <br />(4) The Mainline Laterals after the split. <br /> <br />(5) The Independent Ranchmen's Lateral. <br /> <br />Gathering of information may overlap, from one grouping to another, <br /> <br />but essentially each lateral group will be involved separately for <br /> <br />all activities, beginning with an expression of their willingness <br /> <br />to participate and continuing through construction. <br /> <br />Reclamation will determine which laterals are eligible to participate <br /> <br />in lateral improvement. <br /> <br />Laterals that are already improved to the <br /> <br />extent that they are sufficiently reducing seepage will not be <br /> <br />eligible for participation in the lateral improvement program. <br /> <br />Laterals that do not participate in the program and direct turnouts <br /> <br />will not be assessed costs for any portion of the salinity control <br /> <br />program. <br /> <br />4 <br />
