<br />t.:l <br />CJ1 <br />t..;l <br />W <br /> <br />(c) Description of how salts removed <br />from discharges shall be disposed <br />of to prevent such salts from <br /> <br />entering surface waters or ground <br /> <br />water aquifers. <br />(d) Costs of alternative plans in <br /> <br />dollars per ton of salt removed. <br /> <br />(5) Of the alternatives, a statement as to <br /> <br /> <br />the ore plan for reduction of saltdis- <br /> <br /> <br />charge that the applicant recommends be <br /> <br />adopted. <br />(6) Such other information pertinent to <br /> <br />demonstration of non-practicability as <br /> <br />the permitting authority may deem <br /> <br />necessary. <br /> <br />c. In determining what permit conditions shall <br /> <br /> <br />be required, the permit issuing authority <br /> <br /> <br />shall consider, but not be limited to the <br /> <br /> <br />following: <br />(1) The practicability of achieving no <br />discharge of salt. <br />(2) Where no discharge is determined not to <br />be practicable: <br />(a) The impact of the total proposed <br />salt discharge of each alternative <br />on the lower main stem in terms of <br /> <br />both tons per year and concentra- <br /> <br />tion. <br /> <br />-4- <br />
