<br /> <br />Lower Silver Creek Watershed (Santa Clara County) <br /> <br />The sponsors completed the OMB Circular A-95 review process <br />and submitted their application to the State Depertment of <br />Conservation. Sponsors are the Evergreen Resource Conservation <br />District and the Santa Clara Valley Water District. <br /> <br />Picacho and Unnamed Washes (Imperial County) <br /> <br />The Bard Resource Conservation District began the A-95 review <br />procells. <br /> <br />Mint Canvon (Los Anlleles County) <br /> <br />The sponsors began the A-95 review process. Sponsors are the <br />West Los Angeles County Resource Conaervation District and the <br />Los Angeles County Flood ,Control District. <br /> <br />San Martinez-Chiquito Canyon (Los Anlleles County) <br /> <br />The sponsora beg'an the A-95 review process. Sponsors are ~he <br />West Los Angeles County Resource Conservation District and the <br />Loa Angeles County Flood Control District. <br /> <br />WATERSHED OPERATIONS <br /> <br />:ARIZONA: RWCD (Roosevelt Water Conservation District Floodway) <br />The final EIS was developed and approved. <br /> <br />An archeological mitigation plan has been developed and a <br />contract was entered into with Arizona State Univeraity to <br />implement the plan at a cost of about $100,000. Work is <br />expected to be complete about October 15, 1979. <br /> <br />The design for the first reach of the floodway is in the final <br />stages. The work will be contracted in October 1979. <br /> <br />Buckhom - Mesa Watershed <br /> <br />Construction of the Spook Hill Floodway Retarding Structure is <br />expected to be completed by September 1979. The vegetative <br />and landscaping Will be completed by November 1979. <br /> <br />0-20 <br />
