The Council is heartened by the <br />progress shown on the Paradox Valley Unit and urges continued <br /> <br />efforts to expedite the processing of the proposals for <br /> <br /> <br />drilling of the Paradox Valley Unit Injection Test Well No. <br /> <br />1. <br /> <br />Grand Valley Unit. <br /> <br />The Colorado Water Conservation <br /> <br />Board and Reclamation are to be commended for their <br /> <br />.., <br /> <br />,., <br /> <br />cooperative efforts to organize the private laterals in the <br /> <br />Grand Valley into contracting entities. <br /> <br />Reclamation should <br /> <br />continue to fund and expedite this activity. <br /> <br />Staged <br /> <br />construction on Stage Two of the unit should be initiated <br /> <br />during 1986. <br /> <br />Las Vegas Wash Unit. <br /> <br />Reclamation should continue. wi th <br /> <br />the effluent monitoring program established in the Wash to <br /> <br /> <br />evaluate the effectiveness of the pittman Bypass. Reclama- <br /> <br /> <br />tion should also proceed with the start of construction of <br /> <br />the verification phase of a ground water barrier detention <br /> <br />basin in the whitney area. <br /> <br />Dolores Project <br /> <br />(McElmo Creek Unit).
