Therefore, the Tribe <br />shall useithe following designated use classifications for <br />the surface waters within the exterior boundaries of the <br />reservation. <br /> <br />(A) Desiqnated Uses <br /> <br />The following designated uses may be applied to reservation <br />surface waters: <br /> <br />I ' <br /> <br />Publi~ Water Supply - These surface waters are suitable <br />or intended to become suitable for potable water supplies. <br /> <br />Class 1 Primary Contact Recreation - These surface <br />waters are suitable or intended to become suitable for <br />recre~tional activities in or on the water when the <br />ingestion of small quantities of water is likely to <br />occur. Such waters include but are not limited to <br />those 'used for swimming, rafting, kayaking and water- <br />skiing. <br /> <br />Class ;2 secondarS Contact Recreation - These surface <br />water~ are suita le or intended to become suitable for <br />recreational uses on or about the water which are not <br />inclu~ed in the primary contact category, including <br />but not limited to fishing and other streamside or <br />lakeside recreation. <br /> <br />., <br /> <br />, <br />; <br />j <br />'( <br />, <br />j <br />, <br />"i <br />'1 <br />1 <br />',J <br />.. <br />'l <br />;{ <br />1 <br />,); <br />J <br />,J <br />, <br />) <br /> <br />Class 1 Cold Water A atic Life - provides for <br />protec ~on and propagation 0 aquatic life normally <br />found in waters where the summer temperature does not <br />often exceed 200 Celsius. <br /> <br />Class Warm Water A uatic Life - provides for <br />protec ~on and propagat~on 0 aquatic life normally <br />found in water where the summer temperature frequently <br />exceeds 200 Celsius. <br /> <br />Class 2 Cold and Warm Water Aquatic Life - These are <br />waters that are not capable of sustaining a wide <br />variety of cold or warm water biota, including <br />sensitive species, due to physical habitat, water flows <br />or levels, or uncorrectable water quality conditions <br />that result in substantial impairment of the abundance <br />and diversity of species. <br /> <br />Industrial Water Sup~ly.
