The right of way follows !3.long the southerly side of the channel to a point approximately 2c1/4 miles east of the extreme west boundary of the fee taking. From this point westward the railroad right of way lies outside the proposed fee taking and flood easement. The existing route of U. S. Highway 34 lies partially within the proposed fee taking and flood easement. This highway right of way crosses the southerly portion of the dam site area and proceeds in a generally west and northerly direction in and out of the boundary of the proposed fee taking to a point approxi- mately 1 mile east of the Town of Kersey. There are comparatively few county roads in the proposed reservoir area. A levee approximately 2-1/4 miles in length has been constructed along the northerly side of the river channel. The easterly terminus of this levee lies approximately 1 mile to the west of the proposed dam site. Exhibits Attention is invited to the map of the area submitted as a part of this report. This map indicates the proposed dam site, area of fee taking for the reservoir, proposed flood easement area and areas subject to severance damages.
