<br />Name of Development. The name is the official desig-
<br />nation. Under each of the categories are the developments,
<br />arranged alphabetically. Where a development is located in'
<br />more than one state, the other state or.states involved are
<br />noted. Generally, the information concerning a development
<br />is shown in only one place in the tabulation and reference
<br />may have to be made to State sheet shown. Developments of
<br />the Bureau of Reclsmation identified as "Units" or "Divisions"
<br />are elements of the Missouri River Basin Project; those identi-
<br />fied as "Projects".have been constructed as separate entities,
<br />not utilizing the criteria for the Missouri River Basin Project.
<br />, Projects of the Corps of Engineers include those which are part
<br />of the Missouri River Basin program as well as those developed
<br />under other legislation. The Soil Conservation Service works
<br />are under P.L. 566, 83rd Congress (The Watershed Protection and
<br />Flood Prevention Act), P.L. 534, 78th Congress (The Flood Control
<br />Act of 1944), the Pilot Watershed authorizations and a Group
<br />Enterprise Project prior to P.L. 566.
