Under these three conditions, the plan will consider <br />projected demands for agriculture, industry, <br />municipalit ies, energy, recreation, and wildlife. <br /> <br />5. Dr. S. L. Gray of Colorado State University is <br />directing the Economic Impact Study for the <br />State Water Plan. <br /> <br />a. With the cooperation of the State Legislature <br />and state agencies, he will set criteria <br />for economic growth from which he will <br />develop objecti ves on which to base his <br />economic models. <br /> <br />b. This study will make recommendations on <br />how to best meet economic objectives in <br />regard to water. <br /> <br />6. One aspect of the plan will consider water quality, <br />particularly salinity and minimum stream flow. <br /> <br />7. The study will point out the water problems <br />facing the state. <br /> <br />8. The study may make some recommendations in the <br />area of conservation and efficient use of water. <br /> <br />9. Public hearings will be held around the state in late <br />Mayor early June. <br /> <br />10. Completion is scheduled for July I, 1974. <br /> <br />11. No lengthy discussions with the State Legislature <br />are anticipated after completion. <br /> <br />12.
