There are no significant diversions upstream of the gage. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Animas River near Cedar HiD <br /> <br /> <br />The gaging station is located about Z.5 miles north of the Colorado-New <br /> <br /> <br />Mexico state line, downstream of the confluence of the Animas and Florida <br /> <br /> <br />rivers. The drainage basin size is approximately 1,090 square miles. Records <br /> <br /> <br />are available for the period of 1934 through 1984. Records are considered by <br /> <br /> <br />the USGS to be "good," except for periods of ice-effect or doubtful gage-height <br /> <br /> <br />record, which are "poor."
