2.5.6 Simulation Year Ram!e
You can change the simulation range, see the second item in Figure 4. The Data Set Year Range is the
maximum period for which there is data. If the up and down scroll buttons are used the simulation period
cannot exceed the range of the data set. Values can be entered manually that are not within the year range,
but can't be used unless the input data is changed.

Use the mouse to select the area you want to edit. You can view or edit crop characteristics, water
supplies, well information, and weather stations for each modeling area, but only one at a time.

2.5.8 Croo Characteristics
Characteristics of crop growth determine the water-use characteristics of crops during plant
development. These stages include the planting days to full-cover and harvest. They also include the
earliest and latest moisture use related to temperature, water holding capacity, root depth, management
allowable depletion, etc. In addition, planting dates can also be entered. All fields can be edited. except for
crop name.
