<br />There were 81 new or reissued permits processed and <br /> <br />approved between October 1, 1987 and September 30, 1988. All <br /> <br />C) new or reissued permits comply with Forum policy. <br />CJ1 <br />tv Water Quality Control Plans exist for all 'four Planning <br />Cj) <br /> <br />Regions located within the Colorado River Basin. During the <br /> <br /> <br />time frame covered by this report, the Region 9 plan was <br /> <br />revised. <br /> <br />The region 10 plan is currently undergoing <br /> <br />revisions which will be completed this coming year. <br /> <br />Nevada <br /> <br />The State issued a permit to discharge liquid fertilizer <br />into the Overton Arm of Lake Mead. The discharge was for <br /> <br />experimental purposes as a means of enhancing the Lake's <br /> <br />fishery. The discharge was within the 350 tons per year <br /> <br /> <br />waiver as provided by Forum policy. A monitoring program is <br /> <br /> <br />in place to evaluate the impact of the discharge on the <br /> <br />waters of the Colorado. pioneer Chlor Alkali Company, Inc. <br />(formerly Stauffer and Kerr McGee Chemical) NPDES permits <br />have been reissued. The reissued permits comply with Forum <br /> <br />policy. <br /> <br />New Mexico <br /> <br />Two NPDES permits have been reissued since the 1987 <br /> <br />Review. All reissued permits comply with Forum policy. <br /> <br />utah <br /> <br />Fourteen industrial and seven municipal discharge <br />permits were reissued since the 1987 Review. All permits <br /> <br />comply with Forum policy. <br /> <br />-22- <br />
