<br />(g) Provide Albuquerque District with information
<br />to issue daily situation reports.

<br />(h) In the event communications are lost with
<br />Albuquerque District, every effort will be made to reestablish
<br />communication while initiating "Emergency Regulations for Flood
<br />Control," which is included in paragraph 7-05b and Exhibit "F"
<br />of this manual.

<br />(3) Provision for 24-Hour Alert. Yhe National Weather
<br />Service and Albuquerque District are provided with a list of names
<br />and telephone numbers of key personnel of the Fryingpan-Arkansas
<br />Project Office with instructions to provide warning in the event
<br />of unusual conditions at any time. Responsible personnel shsll
<br />be on duty or on call at all times during flood periods.
<br />
<br />(4) Role of the Pueblo Dsm Superintendent. The
<br />superintendent will regulste the reservoir according to instruc-
<br />tions received from the Project Office. If the superintendent
<br />loses communications with the Project Office and Albuquerque Dis.
<br />trict, he will immediately make every effort to reestablish com-
<br />munications while initiating "Emergency Regulations for Flood
<br />Control," which is included in Exhibit "F" in this msnual.
<br />
<br />c. Other Federal Agencies, The National Weather Service
<br />and U.S. Geological Survey, in cooperation with the Bureau of
<br />Reclamation and Corps of Engineers sre responsible for accumulating
<br />rainfall and streamflow data. In a joint effort, the National
<br />Weather Service and Soil Conservation Service provide forecasts
<br />of snowmelt runoff. The National Weather Service also provides
<br />weather and flood forecasts.
<br />
<br />d. State Agencies. The Colorado State Engineer will
<br />keep the Albuquerque District snd Fryingpan-Arkansas Project Office
<br />informed of flooding or potential flooding conditions on the Arkan-
<br />sas River.
<br />
<br />9-02. Interagency Coordination. Section VII of the Master
<br />Regulation Manual discusses coordination required between Federal
<br />sgencies, State agencies, and local interests. Coordination will
<br />be sufficient to insure the most beneficial operation of the Pueblo
<br />Dam and Reservoir.
