The spillway outlet <br />works consists of three gated conduits, which are located in <br />buttresses 9, II, and 13, under the spillway. Each conduit is <br />l35 feet long and discharges into the stilling basin, then <br />through ,the outlet channel into the river. The inlet side of <br />each conduit is 6' x 6' 6" with ateel plate lining and the outlet side <br />of each conduit varies from 7' X 9' to 12' x 18' with no lining. <br />The elevations of the inverts at the inlets and outlets are <br />4765.0 and 4748.1 feet mal, respectively. The outlet works <br />is a gated and valved 3D-inch-inside-diameter steel pipe with <br />multilevel intakes. The elevations of the inverts at the inlets <br />are 4761.8, 4785.8, 4809.8, and 4849.8 feet mal. Each of the <br />two lowest inlets is controlled by two 30-inch butterfly valves <br />in tandem and the same 5'4" x 6'4" bulkhead gate. Each of the <br />remaining inlets is controlled by two 30-inch butterfly valvee <br />in tandem. The outlet works consists of <br />a gated and valved single-level intake conduit and a gated and <br />vslved multilevel intake conduit. Both conduits are 48-inch- <br />inside-diameter steel pipe.
