January - Marcb <br />It became apparent through redrafting of the above report that <br />additional effort would be required to develop the Block/Segment <br />Habitat Management Plan with both land and water management <br />methods. The Work Group laid out a systematic approach and <br />schedule to assimilate alternatives. Eight work tasks were <br />developed, including a time frame, that would lead to a <br />comprehensive Work Group Report identifying an endangered species <br />habitat management plan for the Platte River. These work tasks <br />include: <br /> <br />1) write and Edit Work Group Report <br />2) Define Habitat Units <br />3) Define Present Condition Habitat <br />4) Develop Land Management Methods <br />5) Develop Water Management Methods <br />6) Develop Alternatives <br />7) Compare Alternatives <br />8) Recommend Implementation Plan <br /> <br />A definition of each task, along with a schedule for completion, <br />was prepared by the Work Group and presented to the Coordinating <br />committee in March, 1991. <br /> <br />5 <br />
