Figure 2 is a Chronology of Events <br />for Fiscal Year 1991, the Work Group has undertaken in the <br />process of developing a Habitat Management Plan for the central <br />Platte River. <br /> <br />The schedule of tasks that would lead to the finalization of the <br />Joint study was presented to the Coordinating Committee and <br />adopted in March 1991. Reclamation and the Service are committed <br />to the FY 1991 work tasks with existing staff and funding. The <br />following is a summary of the study progress for FY 1991 <br />(October, 1990 - September, 1991). <br /> <br />Fiscal Year 1991 Accomplishments <br /> <br />A. October 1990 - January 1991 <br />Shortly before the end of FY 90, the Biology Work Group (BWG) <br />identified 3 habitat management plans which were developed to <br />achieve species recovery and maintenance and assist the Work <br />Group in developing management alternatives. These plans, <br />according to preference, are: 1) Block/Segment Plan, 2) Segment <br />Plan, and 3) Block Plan. These are described in the July, 1990, <br />Biology Work Group Report. The Management Alternatives Work <br />Group (Work Group) considered the Biology Work Group <br />recommendation and developed habitat management alternatives for <br />the BloCk/Segment Plan. <br /> <br />3 <br />
