At the request of the Chairman, the Secretary made copies of this motion available to Regional Director Batson and the representative of Region 4 for delivery to Regional Director Larson for their use in apprising and discussing this matter with the Commissioner at the Regional Director's Conference at Boulder City, Nevada, beginning August 1, 1949. In order that the review of the preliminary draft of interim report on the Initial Phase Gunnison-Arkansas Project might be completed at an early date for submission of the State's corrnnents to the Regional Director for use in preparation of the final draft of report, the Chairman requested a status report on the reviews with specific reference to: (a) Water supply, (b) economic phases of feasibility, (c) flood control, (d) po"er production and its relation to econor.'.ic feasibility, (e) relation of imported water to existing water supply, and (f) fish, ,'Iildlife and rec- reation.
