Mr. Batson informed the group that the <br />appendix would be revised bY' an addenda to cover the recent studies of the <br />Colorado Springs vater supply problem. <br /> <br />17; During the discussions of the status of revieWs'it was disclosed <br />that Mr. Powell had prepared for his own information a short. form of repOrt <br />comprising a digest of, and reflecting the latest changes in, the' present <br />preliminary draft of Regional Director I s Report and Substantiating Report. <br />The Committee was unanimously and enthusiastically agreed that such a <br />digest report would be welcomed for review. Regional Director Batson <br />agreed to make available copies of this report, together with copies of <br />the s\lllllllB.I"Y statement on economic feasibility, to members of the committee <br />and their advisors for their study in order to expedite their reviews of <br />the preliminary draft of report. <br /> <br />Assignments to the Engineering Advisory Sub-committee <br /> <br />18. As a means of expediting and coordinating the reviews of the <br />Committee on the engineering aspects of the preliminary draft of report <br />it was agreed by the Committee that the Engineering Advisory Sub-committee <br />. would review the engineering phases of (a) the revised Appendix on Power <br />Production together with the sUllllllaI"y' statement on the economic phases as <br />it affects the information on power production and other engineering <br />problems of the project, and (b) the digest form of report which the Re- <br />gional Director is having duplicated for use of the Committee and its <br />advisors, and would report its findings and recommendations to the <br />Committee. <br /> <br />Next Meeting <br /> <br />19.
